ASVDH has learned from concordant sources repression of Saharawi activists group which includes: the President Sidi Mohammed Daddach CODAPSO, Soubaii Ahmed, member of the Alliance for Protection prisoners, El Arbi Masaoud member of CODESA, Brahim El Ismaili chairman of the Committee for the Protection of Memory Atiqo Baray Sahrawi activist and human right in Dakhla, after being arrested at about 16: 00 on 10/06 / 2009 Bir Gandouz to control the border between Western Sahara and Mauritania. The officers of the Moroccan security control confiscated their passports, identity cards, drivers' licenses of some of them and their motives.
According to our sources, they were locked in a small room for a few hours and they left the control in the early hours Friday, 07/10/2009 after the ill-treated. Soubaii Ahmed has confirmed that they had encountered problems at each control either Dakhla, Boujdour ... given the lack of identity documents.
ASVDH expresses its concern about the moral and physical integrity of these activists and strongly condemns all practices, expulsion, intimidation and harassment that affect the free movement of activists of human rights in the Sahara West.
