CALL FOR GENERAL STRIKE OF 02 AUGUST 2010
An extraordinary meeting of members of the CSTS (Confederation of Association of Saharawi workers) of the occupied territory of Western Sahara was held on June 27 to to assess the situation of Saharawi workers and retirees, especially those of phosboucraa. It was found that the policy of impoverishment and racial segregation practiced by Morocco in the occupied territory of Western Sahara has reached an unbearable level of violations of basic rights of the Saharawi workers, plunder of natural resources and non-application of self-determination referendum for the Saharawi people by the MINURSO, to this end the workers' general assembly has decided to convene a general strike on August 2, 2010, with a massive concentration of all trbajadores to the management of energy mines and Morocco in Laayoune, Smara Boulevard from 8h 45 m in the morning To this end, the CSTS is seeking the support of all international organizations, unions, political parties and human rights organizations in their legitimate struggle .
