Gums Bleeding Veneers

The Chicago Marathon - need your help!

I announced on Facebook , I enrolled in Chicago Marathon be held on 11 October.

I entered through a foundation that is named "A Running Start , a non-profit uses sport to improve the lives of Africans from the east. This region of the world is the homeland of many of the best marathoners in the world and the foundation "A Running Start" supports some future athletes by giving them access to university education, and using athletes to inspire urban youth and villages to remain in school.

In their words:

Our Mission Is To harness this talent in order to allow more East Africans to earn a U.S. university education from their athletic gift, to leverage sports to inspire local children to stay in school and to enable more talented young athletes to earn a living from the sport.

Je me suis engagé à trouver un minimum de 500$ de dons (avec un objectif de 1000$). La course est une de mes passions mais tant qu’à courir aussi bien en faire profiter d’autres qui ont la même passion et un peu moins de chance.

I'll invite you to visit my web page and give a few dollars ... why not ...

My last marathon was the "Breast Cancer Marathon " in February 2008 at Jacksonville Florida.

42.2 km under a blazing sun and a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius which 4 km on a beach. My official goal was to finish below four hours. Result: I finished in 3:59:03 which ranked 4th got 196 in my category (Woman of my age group!)

In June 2008 I did the 20 km Tour du Lac Brome 1:44 , a very good time since the route is hilly, it was very hot and I celebrated with friends who have a cottage yesterday. I was hoping for a new and improve my marathon time in the fall of 2008 but I'm overtrained during the summer and I fractured my tibia (Ouch!).

This will be my first marathon since the injury but hope nonetheless manage to win 10 minutes and finish the marathon in under 3:50 allows me to qualify for the Boston Marathon. One of my many dreams ...

The Boston Marathon is the oldest marathon which is still run annually. It's a marathon mythical and difficult. The only way to participate is to qualify in a marathon before and approved by finishing in a time determined selon sa catégorie d’âge.

It is also possible injuries and the fact that starting a marathon you know you started but you have no guarantee of the end ... it all depends on how the machine will react ...

All these contingencies do not prevent me to dream ... It's in 15 weeks and so I began my training with maximum motivation question put the odds on my side ... Although it between you and me it's not the temperature that helps!

So here, I encourage you to the cause for which I course, I will keep you informed of progress of the training

Problema Driver Installazione Pl2303

advertising. The facts. Come discuss

What really the impact of advertising "traditional" in the era or the Internet and Web 2.0 are presented as alternatives more efficient, more powerful and less expensive.

If you read me and follow me for a while you know I hate the thought dogmatic and gurus at the punch that made statements Incendiary and declare the death of all the old models and greets all over the Web.

I love the Web and the opportunities it offers to individuals and organizations, but I often find that its most ardent defenders lack of nuance and I hopping with joy when serious studies allow us to draw conclusions and to push our thinking.

I fell through Ad Age on the findings of Future of Advertising Project . The project was undertaken by the very serious Wharton School in collaboration with the Research Advertisisng Foundation .

Quelques unes des conclusions :

TV advertising loses money for most marketers – though the same study found that, for the heaviest spenders, TV overall paid out and still works as well or better than it did in similar tests conducted a decade ago.

22% of word-of-mouth conversations were sparked directly by advertising. (…) What’s more finds an even higher proportion of online buzz – 30% -- generated by ads.

The DVR study found essentially no difference in average ad recall or likability scores among household with and without DVRs.

Print is more effective than TV or online at creating purchase intent. Print advertising produces a higher sales lift per dollar than TV.

Online Search generates a higher lift in offline sales per consumer exposure than display, but that display, with its larger reach, likely produces a higher overall lift. The research also finds that display and search used together produce a higher lift then the combined effects of using either separately.

Comment j’interprète ces conclusions?

Que, tout comme 10 years ago, the marketing mix and advertising, not just one tactic that will make the success of a program or initiative.

That word of mouth, powerful but hard to control, is always influenced by advertising "traditional". However, social networks can swell the tide, either positively or negatively.

As Bonnie Raitt said "Give Them Something to Talk About" ... Ideally your product!

And finally ... No one killed the radio star! Access the web is changing our way to entertain and inform. It evolved the way we communicate and get in touch ... but does not obsolete all that preceded it.

And you, what is your interpretation?

I also invite you to read this post December 2008 on the same topic: The traditional media are the source of the process that causes the "influencers" to search the Web and share information line.

How To Make A Beat Off Toy

Internet and print media

What future for print media at the time of mobility and Web 2.0?

Many questions

  • What is the future of paper as a platform?
  • How does one cashes the Internet?
  • What happens to journalism in this new world?
  • What are the key success factors?

On Monday, June 29th I will be attending the panel discussion organized by the Alliance and hosted by Digital Sebastien Provencher Paized Media.

Other panelists:

  • Boutot Bruno, co-founder and strategist Infopresse Internet community
  • Jean-François Codère Journalist rueFrontenac.com
  • Patrice-Guy Martin , editor, Computer Science Department
  • Robert Duhamel, Director , Gesca Digital
